Tray Designs & Manufacturing Update

Hello lovely people! I hope everyone's year started off with a bang. It's hard to believe it's already February!
Tray Designs!
We are so excited to show off these awesome trays designed by GameTrayz! These are going to make setup and storage so easy, as well as increase the overall experience of the game!
The game will include 2 Tent Trays (one for each corner of the board so all players can reach the important tokens used each turn):
And 1 Backpack Tray:
(These are just renderings, the components shown are not finalized artwork, which is why you'll see some blank tokens, etc.)
Manufacturing Update
It has been pointed out (and rightfully so) that we should be completing production soon according to the timeline towards the bottom of our campaign page, and we have yet to show you a pre-production copy of the game...so what's going on?!
The last thing we are waiting on is the box insert design from GameTrayz so that we can get the boxes produced, otherwise the manufacturer is currently working on the rest of the pre-production copy as we speak! Noah (from GameTrayz) let me know that they are a little short staffed which is why there was a bit of a delay, but seeing these tray designs and knowing how much he puts into perfecting the insert, it'll be totally worth it!
We were hoping to get a pre-production copy before Chinese New Year, but it looks like we'll likely get it right after (beginning of March-ish). Seeing as this is the case, our revised timeline would put us at delivering games sometime in late June. We have on our campaign page that games will be delivered May-June so we are currently still on the later end of our estimate. I gave us a bit of buffer time in case something came up that delayed production, in the hopes that we may be able to deliver early. To be transparent, I thought about moving ahead with production with different (much simpler and non-themed) trays/inserts to make sure we stayed ahead of schedule, but I decided that I'd rather have the game be the absolute best version it can be (especially since the trays will be used during the game and not just for storage), at the risk of potentially being a month late on delivery. I can only hope that you share our sentiment with the decision and we appreciate your patience. Believe me, no one is more anxious to get these games to you all than we are! :)
I can't wait to show off the pre-production copy next month, and will keep you in the loop if anything else happens in between now and then! I'll most likely lock down the fulfillment partners for the rest of the world before the next update as well.

Hello!
We wanted to send an update to wish all of our amazing backers a safe and happy holiday season! I also wanted to let you know what's been going on over here, I know it's been a minute since our last update!
We finished finalizing all of the components including the dual-layered player boards, the packaging for the add-ons/mini-expansions, and the rulebooks. We had the rulebook professionally edited by our friends over at Magic and Meeples, and our next step will be to get it translated in several different languages, for which we have several qualified volunteers that we're excited to work with!
We are just about ready to get our pre-production sample of the game from the manufacturer; we're just waiting to get the final designs of the trays/insert from GameTrayz. I met with Noah from GameTrayz on Wednesday and he let me know that they are a little short-staffed at the moment which is why it's taken a little longer than expected to get the designs back for the trays/insert, but he also showed me one of the trays he was working on for us, it looks amazing, and it'll be worth the wait! I can't wait to show you guys what he's been working on in the next update!
I've also officially locked in our fulfillment partner for the US and Canada, which will be Diamond Comic Distributors Inc. I'm very excited to be working with them on this project, as they specialize in delivering items that require safe and secure handling! They have an amazing track record when it comes to delivering on time as well.

BackerKit order quantities will lock Tomorrow (November 3rd) at the end of the day so we can get our final counts for production. If you haven't filled out yours yet, it’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
Due to the volatility of shipping (and sales tax / VAT / GST) prices globally right now, shipping (and sales tax / VAT / GST) fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shipping and sales tax / VAT / GST a month or two before fulfillment when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers rewards. Your card will be charged once on November 1st for any add-ons you add through BackerKit, then once more in April/May for sales tax / VAT / GST (where applicable), and shipping. We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. We will keep you all informed along the way!

Hello everyone! Time for an exciting update! I can't believe it's already the end of October. Time is flying and everything is moving at light speed over here at SweaterBear Games HQ. While we've been getting all the manufacturing kick-off steps ready for the game, we wanted to touch base!
84% of you have filled out your BackerKit surveys so we're almost there! If you haven't filled out yours yet, it’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

New Board Design Reveal!
Now that we have the boring (but very important!) stuff out of the way, we are extremely excited to share the new board design for hitting the 450k stretch goal! We appreciate everyone's patience as we have been pouring over the details of the board art to make sure it was perfect. Our illustrator, Natalia Hubbert, did an incredible job, and we couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out! She took a few of the cards for inspiration and now everything feels so cohesive. The new board design takes the whole playing experience to another level and we can't wait for you to see it on your table!
There's so much detail that it's hard for a phone/computer screen to do it justice but we hope you love it as much as we do! Every time I take a closer look at one area, I see some new detail I hadn't noticed before! It's so much fun to spot all the different little animals.
For those of you who got the Legend of the Falls Bonus Game, that side of the board is also being designed in the exact same style, and it looks great as well (it's just about done)!
Thanks to your immense support, this is turning out to be the top-tier game we always dreamed it would be. THANK YOU AGAIN! We can't wait for you to play it!
